Automate tax calculations for the United States and Canada using the Avalara Tax Engine. This service integrates directly with your Odoo workflow to ensure real time, accurate tax rates for every transaction (Invoice or Credit Note).
1 credit is consumed every time an Invoice or Credit Note is posted with an Avatax fiscal position.

Is this right for your business? 
This service is designed specifically for SMBs that:
  • Process under 5,000 transactions per year.
  • Require automated calculation only (Tax Filing, Exemption Certificates, and additional Avalara services are not included).
If your business scales beyond 5,000 transactions annually, you will have to transition to an Avalara Direct plan to ensure uninterrupted service at high volumes.

An IAP service is a paid feature that Odoo or a partner runs on their own servers and that your database calls when you need it. You pay per use instead of per month.

A pack converts money into credits once, at purchase time. Every successful call spends credits from your balance at the rate shown above. Credits are attached to one service and one database.

No. Credits stay on your account until they are used. Buying a larger pack only changes the unit price, it never shortens their life.

The feature stops rather than failing your workflow, and the users you listed receive a warning email before the balance reaches your threshold. You can also turn on auto-refill so a new pack is bought automatically.

An invoice is issued for every pack and is available from your Odoo customer portal. Unused credits can be refunded on request within 30 days of purchase.
